2015 FAVORITES

If you know me, you know I love lists. Every year around this time I make a "Top 10 Favorite Films of _____" list looking back at the year in cinema that specific year. It's a time where I can reminisce those movies and go back to the experience of how I felt while watching it, the lessons I learned, the beautiful images I took in, etc. My lists typically are an even mix of lesser-known films and mainstream blockbusters, and I like it that way. I rank the films not on a scale of how technically proficient the filmmaking is, but how much I enjoy it. While The Godfather is a cinematic achievement and one of the best films of all-time, Rush Hour 2 will be in front of it on my list of favorite films ten times out of ten. I want to be honest with my lists and I hope you enjoy reading them.
